The Pinkitude competition started this really great thing and I'm glad to be able to contribute to the cause.
Breast Cancer Effects women all over the world. Sadly, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Muslim world aren't as switched on to the issue as they should be, despite the growing epidemic in the region. Maybe it's lack of knowledge, confidence, fear of exclusion... who knows. I made this piece for all my sisters, mothers and grandmothers who should feel confidence and get a mammogram. Life's obstacles only make us stronger.   |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
